A village has a population of 4000 people .60 llts of water is required per person per day .the village tanker of water is cuboidal in shape. With diameter 48×32×35 and completely filled with water. For how many days o the water of this tank is sufficient

1 person per day need 60 L water

4000 person per day needs 60 × 4000 = 240000 L water

Tank is in cuboidal shape

Length l of tank = 48 m

Breadth b of tank = 32m

Height h of tank = 35 m

VOLUME OF TANK =
l \times b \times h

48 \times 32 \times 35

➡️ 53,760 m³

1 {m}^{3} = 1000

53760 \: {m}^{3} = 53760000 \: l

No. Of days the water will last in this tank =
 \frac{volume \: \: of \: \: tank}{water \: \: used \: \: by \: \: villagers}

 = \frac{53760000}{240000}

 = 224

ANS — 224 days.
