Total population of the village = 5000

Water requirement per person per day = 120 liters

therefore,

Water requirement per day = 5000 × 120 = 600000 liters -------------- (1)

Now,

Volume of tank = 20×20×3 = 1200m^3

1m^3 = 1000 liters

therefore,

amount of water the tank can hold = 1200×1000 = 1200000 liters.

No. of days water in the tank will last = volume of tank / volume of water used = 1200000/600000 = 2 days.

Total population = 5000

water requirement per head in each day = 120 liters

Therefore, Water requirement in per day= 5000×120=600000 litres

Then, Volume of tank = 20×20×3= 1200m³

1m³= 1000 litres

Therefore, the amount of water the tank can hold = 1200×1000= 1200000 litres.

Number of days water in the tank will last = volume of tank/volume of water used = 1200000/600000= 2days.

Hope it will be helpful to you all ❤️
