Answer:

The volume of the tank =20×15×6=1800 cubic meter.

1 cubic meter contains 1000litres of water

1800 cubic meter contains =1800×1000=1800000litres

The total village needs water per day= 8000×150=1200000litres

The water will last=1800000÷1200000=1.5=one and half day.

ANSWER:-

Given:

A village has a population of 8000. Each person needs 150litres of water per day.

The village measuring 20m ×15m×6m. The tank is full.

To find:

How many days will the water last?

Solution:

Here,

⚫l= 20m

⚫b=15m

⚫h= 6m

We know that the volume of the tank;

=) l×b×h

=) (20×15×6)m³

=) 1800m³

Water required per person per day= 150l

Water required for 8000 person per day

=) (8000× 150)litres

=) 1200000 litres

We know that, 1m³ = 1000l

=) 1litre= 1/1000m³

So,

 =  >  \frac{1200000}{1000}  \\  \\  =  > 1200  {m}^{3}

Now,

Number of days water will last:

 =  >  \frac{volume \: of \: tank}{total \: water \: required \: per \: day}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1800 {m}^{3} }{1200 {m}^{3} }  \\  \\  =  > 1.5 \: days

Hence,

The water will last for 1.5 days.

Hope it helps ☺️
