Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a tank= l*w*t

Volume= 25*18*5= 2250m3

1m3  =1000litres

2250m3   =2250,000l

1 day= 125*3600=450,000liters

If I day = 450,000

What about 2,250 000

225000/450000 = 5 days

Step-by-step explanation

The very first thing in this case is to determine the capacity of the tank by calculating the volume of water in which it can hold in litres.

After knowing how much the tank hold, it is now possible to estimate and calculate the number of liters that the people consume in a day to be able to see how many days the water will last.

With the xact number of litres that are being used in a day, the  number of days that it will last can now be calculated by dividing the capacity of the tank with the litres consumed daily .
