Daily need of water = 4000 x 150

Amount of water in tank = 20 x 15 x 6 x 1000

Number of days = Amount of water / Daily need

= (20 x 15 x 6 x 1000) / (4000 x 150) = 3

hope it helps

Given :- A population is 4000 it requires 150 litres of water per head per day.

Therefore, Total population of the village per day will consume = 4000×150
= 6,00,000 litres

1 {m}^{3}  = 1000l
therefore 6,00,000 litres will be

 \frac{600000}{100}  = 600 {m}^{3}
For tank:-

l \times b \times  h = capacity \: of \: the \: tank
20×15×6=1800m^3

Number of days for which the water of tan k will last =

 \frac{1800}{600 }  = 3 \: days
