Dimensions of the wall

Length = 10 m
Breadth = 1 m
Height = 2 m

---------

T.S.A of the wall = 2(lb + bh + lh)
= 2(10 × 1 + 1 × 2 + 10 × 2)
= 2(10 + 2 + 20)
= 2 × 32
= 74 m²

---------

Dimensions of the brick

Length = 20 cm
Breadth = 10 cm
Height = 10 cm

T.S.A of the wall = 2(lb + bh + lh)
= 2(20 × 10 + 10 × 10 + 20 × 10)
= 2(200 + 100 + 200)
= 2 × 500
= 1000 cm²

-----------

Transferring the T.S.A of wall from 74 m² to cm² = 7400 m²

------------

=》 Bricks needed to build the wall = 7400/1000 = { \underline\textbf{7 bricks}}
