25
Volume of the wall = 2400*500*25= 30000000 cm³
Volume of brick= 25*12.5*7.5=2343.75
Volume to be covered by sand & cement is 5%
Hence volume covered by brick =(100-5)%=95%
Volume of wall to be covered by brick= 30000000*95/100= 28500000
 No. of brick required=28500000/2343.75= 12160
No. of brick used are 12160

mathbubble8: Thanks again. But in the statement volume of wall to be covered by bricks why did we multiplied 30000000*95? From where 95 came?
gautamisahoo: please mark as the best...........
mathbubble8: Sure !
mathbubble8: But why did we minus (hundered-5)% ??
gautamisahoo: 100 % wall is made of 5% cement and rest by bricks
mathbubble8: Okay.
