Answer:

Rs. 3281.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Length of room = 4.5m and height of the room = 3.5m

So, area of the room = 4.5 x 3.5 = 15.75m^2

Area of room = 15.75 x (10000 cm^2) = 157,500 cm^2

Size of tiles = (12cm x 10cm)

So, area of tile one = 12 x 10 = 120cm^2

So, number of tiles required to cover the floor = Area of Floor / Area of one tile =   157500 / 120 = 1312.5

It is given that for one tile it costs Rs. 2.50

Therefore, cost of covering the floor with tiles:

==> 2.50 x 1312.5 = 3,281.25

==> Rs. 3281.25

Hope you understand:)
