given :-

dimensions of the wall :-

  • length = 4m

= 4 × 100

= 400m

  • wide = 3m

= 3 × 100

= 300cm

  • thick = 13cm

dimensions of the brick :-

  • length = 20cm

  • wide = 12cm

  • thick = 6.5cm

no. of bricks required to make the wall = (volume of the wall)/(volume of the brick)

 \sf =  \frac{400 \times 300 \times13 }{20 \times 12 \times 6.5}  \\  \\  \sf =  \frac{ \cancel{20} \times 20 \times  \cancel{12} \times 25 \times  \cancel{6.5} \times 2}{ \cancel{20}  \times  \cancel{12} \times  \cancel{6.5}}  \\  \\  \sf = 20 \times 25 \times 2 \\  \\  \sf = 1000

hence, 100 bricks are required.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Dimensions of the wall :-

Converting all in cm.

length = 4 m = 4 × 100 = 400 cm

Breath = 3 m= 3 × 100 = 300 cm

Height = 13 cm

Dimensions of the brick :-

length = 20 cm

Breadth = 12 cm

Height = 6.5 cm

To Find :-

Number of bricks required to make the wall.

Solution :-

Number of bricks required to make the wall = (volume of the wall)/(volume of the brick)

Number of bricks = 400 × 300 × 13/20 × 12 × 6.5

Number of bricks = 20 × 25 × 2

Number of bricks = 1000

Hence, 1000 bricks required to make the wall.
