The cost at the rate of rs 12.50 per tiles is Rs.700

Step-by-step explanation:

1 m = 100 cm

Length of wall = 5 m = 500 cm

Width of wall = 3 m = 300 cm

Area of wall = Length \times Breadth = 500 \times 300 = 150000 cm^2

Length of tile = 25 cm

Width of tile = 10 cm

Area of tile = Length \times Breadth = 25 \times 10 = 250 cm^2

No. of tiles required =\frac{150000}{250}=600

Cost of 1 tile = Rs.12.5

Cost of 600 tiles =12.5 \times 600 =7500

Hence  the cost at the rate of rs 12.50 per tiles is Rs.700
