Given :

The length of min hand = l = 5 cm

The time taken to tip reacting is 6 : 00 hour to 18 : 30 hour

To Find :

The average velocity of the tip

Solution :

Let The average velocity of the tip = v m/sec

∵ length of min hand = 5 cm , so

Total displacement of tip = 2 × l = 2 × 5 cm = 10 cm

And

The min hand swap between 6 : 00 hour to 18 : 30 hour  = 12.5 hours

                                                                                              = 45000 sec

velocity = \dfrac{displacement}{time}

                 = \dfrac{l}{t}

                 = \dfrac{10}{45000}

                = 2.2 × 10^{-4}  cm/s

Hence, The average velocity of the tip is = 2.2 × 10^{-4}  cm/s  Answer
