A wall is made using cubes of side 4 meters. length, breadth and thickness of the wall are 20m, 16m and 12m respectively. how many cubes are needed to build the wall?

Imagine a wall that is made using cubes of the given dimension. We can easily figure out the number of cubes needed by using the simple unitary method.

Volume of a single cube = side³ = 4³ m³
Volume of the cuboid= length x breadth x height = 20 x 16 x 12 m³

Now, for covering 4³ m³ volume, you would need= 1 cube

And for covering the entire 20 x 16 x 12 m³ volume of the wall, you would need =
(20 x 16 x 12)÷(4³) number of cubes!
