No. Of tiles = Area of wall / area of one tile

6350×1270/2.54×2.54. =1250000

Given, Length of the wall = 63.5 m = 6350 cm.

Given, Breadth of the wall = 12.7 m = 1270 cm.

Now,

Given that is has to be paved with 2.54 cm tiles each.

⇒ Length = 6350/2.54

                = 2500.

⇒ Breadth = 1270/2.54

                  = 500.

Hence, Area of the tile = length * breadth

⇒ 2500 * 500

⇒ 1250000.

Therefore, Number of tiles needed = 1250000.

Hope this helps!
