Given :  A  wallet contains ₹4080 in notes in denominations of ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, and ₹100 in the ratio of 1 : 3 : 5 : 7 respectively

To Find : How much money do the 20 and 50 rupee notes sum up together

Solution:

₹10, ₹20, ₹50, and ₹100 in the ratio of 1 : 3 : 5 : 7

Let say ₹10, notes =  P

then ₹20 notes = 3P

₹50 notes = 5P

₹100 notes = 7P

Total Values =  10 * P  + 20 * 3P  + 50 * 5P + 100 * 7P

= 10P + 60P + 250P + 700P

= 1020P

1020P = 4080

=> P = 4

Value of 20 & 50 notes

= 20*3P  + 50*5P

= 60P + 250P

= 310P

= 310 * 4

= 1240  Rs

20 and 50 rupee notes sum up together = Rs 1240
