The percentage increase in the orders of April to May is 25%.

Given:

The orders received by warehouse in the month of April are 250.

The orders received by warehouse in the month of May are 300.

To find:

The increase in the percentage of orders from April to May.

Solution:

By the Given,

The orders for April is 250, May is 300.

So, we need to find the increase percentage by the ratio of difference between the orders on the month of April and may to the orders of April.

=\frac{(300-250)}{250}

=\frac{50}{250}

=\frac{5}{25}

=\frac{1}{4}

=0.25 or 25%.
