Given : A warren of rabbits has a population of 25.

The population is increasing at a rate of 20% per year.

To Find : How can you write an exponential growth function

to find the monthly growth rate

Solution:

Let say monthly growth rate  = r %

Initial value = 25

Value after 1 year = 25 + (20/100)25  =  30

25 ( 1 +  R/100)¹²  = 30

exponential growth function  yo find the monthly growth rate

25 ( 1 +  R/100)¹²  = 30

=> R = 1.5301

exponential growth function where t is in months.

= 25* (1.015301)^t
