customers duty 10% so actual price is 500+500*(10/100)= 550rs
let mp = x
discount 25%
sp = x-(x*25/100)
=3x/4
now sp= (100+20)% of cp
= 120%*550
= 660
so 3x/4= 660
x= 880

so he should mark it at 880 rs

Answer:

880 rupees

Step-by-step explanation:

Actual C.P. of watch for dealer = Rs(500+500*10%)

=Rs 550

Required profit = 20%

S.P. = (100+Gain%/100)*C.P.

= (100+20/100)*550

= (120/100*550)

= Rs 660

Discount% = 25%

M.P. = (100*S.P./100-Discount)

= (100*660/100--25)

= (66000/75)

= Rs 880
