The S.P of second person = C.P of third  person

= $1.25\times 1.25x$

S.P of third person = $1.25\times1.25\times1.25x$

$1.25\times1.25\times1.25x=250$

$(1.953125)x=250$

x= 128

hence, option (a) is correct
