Profit =Rs. 10012x

∴  Selling price  =Rs. (x+100/12x)=Rs. 100112x

According to the problem

448=100112x

∴ x=400

∴  Cost price of eatch =Rs. 400

New Selling price =Rs. 512

∴  Profit =Rs. (512−400)=Rs. 112

∴  Profit %=400112×100=28%
