A watch sold for ₹448 gives a profit of only 12%. find the profit % if the selling price had been ₹512.

S.P. of watch = ₹448 Profit = 12% C.P. = 100/100+Profit * S.P. = 100/112*448 = 400

When S.P. = 512

Profit = 512 - 400 = 112

Profit % = 112/400*100 = 28%
