A watch sold for Rs.448 gives a profit of only 12% .Find the profit % if the selling price had been Rs.512

CP = x

SP = 448

448/x = 112/100

x = 44800/112 = 400

If the selling Price is 512 profit would be

512 - 400 = Rs. 112

in % = 112/400 x 100 = 28%
