It is told that 6% profit = 6% loss + 870 Let cp = x So 6% loss 6=x-sp/sp *100 (formula for loss%) So sp=94x/100 Similarly sp when profit=106x/100 From above equation, 106x/100 = 94x/100 + 870 Find x to get cp.
