Answer:

HOPE IT IS HELP YOU AND ALL THE VERY BEST

AND YOUR ANSWER IS 2500W

Explanation:

Answer

Here we have the volume of water as 50/1000 m3

after converting we get this.We know that mass=density×volume

M=1000×50/1000=50kg.

Force is equal to m×g = 50×10 =500N

Workdone=F×s=500×25=12500J

Power=work/time=12500/5=2500Watt.

Hence,power generated is 2500 W.

Given :

Mass of water = 50 kg

Height = 25m

Time = 5s

To Find :

Power of the pump.

Solution :

❖ Power is defined as the rate of work done per unit time. Therefore first of all we have to find work done by force.

  • Work done is measured as the product of force and displacement.

Here force acting on the water is gravitational force which is equal to mg.

➠ W = F • d

➠ W = (mg) • d

➠ W = 50 × 10 × 25

W = 12500 J

Power of the pump :

➙ Power = Work done / Time

➙ P = 12500 / 5

P = 2500 W
