Given :

  • Height of water storage tank = 1.5m
  • Diameter of water storage tank = 1m
  • Value of pi (π) = 3.14

To find :

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Here,

  • r = radius of cylinder
  • h = height of cylinder

Solution :

Here , firstly we need to find Radius of water Storage tank.

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 1m ÷ 2

Radius = 0.5 m

Now putting value of radius and height in formula of volume (V = πr²h), we get;

Volume = 3.14 × (0.5m)² × (1.5m)

Volume = 3.14 × 0.25 m² × 1.5m

Volume = 3.14 × 0.375 m³

Volume = 1.1775 m³

ANSWER :

Volume of water storage tank = 1.1775

Answer:

height of cylinder is 1.5m,diameter is 1m and radius is d/2=0.5m

volume is πr2h

3.14*0.5*0.5*1.5=

3.14*5/10*5/10*15/10=

3.14*375/1000=

117.75
