Ans.

D=1m

R=0.5m

H=1.5m

Volume of cylinder=πr^2×h

=22/7×0.5×0.5×1.5

=22/7×0.375

=8.25/7

=1.17

The volume of the tank is 1.178 m^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of cylindrical tank = 1.5 m

Diameter of cylindrical tank = 1 m

Radius of cylindrical tank = \frac{1}{2} = 0.5 m

Volume of cylindrical tank =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 0.5^2 \times 1.5

Volume of cylindrical tank =1.178 m^3

Hence  the volume of the tank is 1.178 m^3
