Answer:

Water Used = 1041 (2/3)L

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Water used during the day = Water filled - Water left

Now,

Capacity = 2000L

Then,

Water filled = (11/16) of 2000L

= (11/16) × 2000

Taking out the common factors,

= (11/8) × 1000

= (11/4) × 500

= (11/2) × 250

= 11 × 125

= 1375L

Hence,

Water filled = 1375

Now,

Water left at Evening = (1/6) of 2000L

= (1/6) × 2000

Taking the common factors out

= (1/3) × 1000

= (1000/3)L

Then,

Water used during day = 1375L - (1000/3)L

Making the fractions like

= 1375 × (3/3) - (1000/3)

= (4125/3) - (1000/3)

= (4125 - 1000/3)

= (3125)/3

= 1041 (2/3)L

Hence,

Water Used = 1041 (2/3)L

Hope it helped you and believing you understood it....All the best
