Take the LCM of 30 , 45, and -30

i,e = 180

so litres inlet 1 will fill = 180/30

= 6 litres

litres second inlet will fill = 180/40

= 4 litres

litres outlet will empty = 180 /30

= 6 litres

so if all open at once i,e

A+B-C = 6l + 4l + 6l = 4 litres

therefore time taken = 180/4

= 45 minutes
