Answer:

length of cuboid=l=1.5 m

height of cuboid=h=2m

breadth of cuboid=b=7m

volume of cuboid= l×h×b

v=1.5×2×7= 21cubic m

we know 1 cubic m =1 ltr

so volume of water= 21ltr

Given,

Length of cuboid = 1.5m

Height of cuboid = 2m

Breadth of cuboid = 7m

To Find,

The quantity of water in litres that can be stored in the tank =?

Solution,

We can solve the question using the following steps:

Volume of a cuboid = l×b×h

Here,

l = length\\b = breadth\\h = height

Substituting the given values,

Volume = 1.5*2*7

Volume = 21 m^{3}

Now,

1 m^{3}  = 1000 litres

21m^{3} = 21*1000 litres

         = 21000 litres

Hence, 21,000 litres of water can be stored in the tank.
