A water tank is 2 m long, 1 m wide and 50 cm deep. How many litres of water can it hold

Given,

length of the tank = 2m

breath of the tank = 1m

height of the tank = 50cm or 0.5m

according to the question,

Volume of the tank = Length x Breath x Height

= ( 2 X 1 X 0.5 )m

= 1m cube

we know that,

1 m cube = 1000 L

Thus, the tank can hold Upto 1000 L of water .
