A water tank is 80cm long, 30cm wide and 35cm deep. How much litres does the tank hold?

so volume of tank is : L*B*H;

hence volume in litres is = .96 *1000 = 960 Litres ….. (because 1m^3 = 1000 Litres)

so it can store 960 litres of water…

Length=1m

Width=80 cm =0.8 m

Height=120 cm = 1.2m

So volume= 1∗0.8∗1.2

=0.96 m3

Now 1 m3 = 1000 liter

So 0.96 m3 = 960 liter
