A water tank is in an form of a cylinder whose radius is 70cm and height is 1m. Find the quantities of water in litres that can be stored in the tank.

Please give the answer with steps.

R=70cm =0.7m 
H=1mitre

volume of cylinder=πr²h 
22/7*0.7*0.7*1 

= 1.54metre cube
1m³=1000liters 

so, 1.54×1000 liters 
=154 liters

22/7×70cm×70cm×100cm
=1540000cm³

1000cm³=1 litres
1540000cm³ = 1540 litres

Ans: 1540 litres
