One tap fills the water tank = 25 Litres/minute

Another tap can fills the water tank = 15 Litres/minute

If both taps are opened = 25 + 15 = 40 Litres/minute

It means tank will be filled by 40 litres/minute

Time taken to fill water tank when 2 taps are opened = 15 minutes

Capacity of the water tank = 40 × 15 = 600 Litres

We know that 1 Litre = 1000 cm³

Volume of the water tank = 600 × 1000 = 600000 cm³
