Answer :

Voters keep democracy alive because the fulfill the meaning and need for democracy. Democracy means "for the people", "by the people", "of the people". The voting is done by the people and it is done for the people. We vote in order to choose a representative to rule a particular constituency for us and therfore it is done for the people and the government is made up of the people. So hereby we can say that voters keep the democracy alive and without them a democracy is useless and not functional.
