A wave has a frequency of 5Hz, how long does it take to complete one cycle?

and, Time period is defined as time taken to complete one cycle,

And, Time period and frequency relation is also given as:

Time period = 1 / frequency

here, f = 5 Hz

or, time period = 1 / 5 = 0.2 s

Therefore, It takes 0.2 second to complete one cycle.
