a wave of 500 hz is travelling with a speed of 360 M per second if the phase difference between two successive particles is 60 degree find the path difference between them?

Hi there!

Firstly,
find the Wavelength :

λ = Speed/Frequency

λ = 36/50

Now,
Phase difference = (2 π/k ) × Path difference

60 = (360/36) × 50 × Path difference

Thus,
Distance bewtween two nearest points = Path difference = 6/50 metre
