Given wavelength(lamda)=20cm=0.2m

wave velocity(v)=24m/s

1)No.of waves produced in one second

in any wave frequency is equal to no.of waves

from the equation v=lamda*frequency

hence,f=v/lamda

f=24/0.2

=120

2)time=1/f

           =1/120

           =0.008

(i) v=24

lambda=0.2

v = lambda \times f

f =   \frac{v}{lambda}

 =  \frac{24}{0.2}  \\  = 120

(ii)

t =  \frac{1}{f }  \\  =   \frac{1}{120 }  \\  = 0.008 \\  = 8 \times  {10}^{ - 3}
