If the pressure and amount of gas do not change then the new volume of the weather balloon is 1604.16 L .

Explanation:

The initial volume of the weather balloon, V₁= 1500 L

The initial temperature, T₁ = 15℃ = 15+273 = 288 K

The new temperature, T₂ = 35℃ = 35+273 = 308 K

It is also given that the pressure and the amount of gas remains constant

Let the new volume of the weather balloon be “V₂” Litres.

Using the Charle’s Law, we get

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

substituting the given values

⇒ 1500/288 = V₂/308

⇒ V₂ = [1500 * 308] / 288

V₂ = 1604.16 L

Thus, the new volume will be 1604.16 L.
