Formula is Mg = 2T sin(theta)

                T = Mg/2 sin theta

Given, Rope is no longer horizontal so, theta = 0

so, T = Mg/2 sin(0)

         = Mg/2 * 0

         = Infinite

So option (D) is the answer.

Hope this helps!
