Answer:

Good afternoon and thank you.

It is an honour to be here with you today to bring greetings from the Board of Education of Black Gold Regional Schools.

We are here today to say welcome and congratulations to the new teachers of Greater Black Gold. This is also our opportunity to say thank you for choosing teaching as your profession!

Few professions are as important as teaching. You have the ability to mold young minds and to prepare your students for life’s challenges. You have had many teachers help you to get where you are today, and now it is your turn to be the teacher, the mentor, the guide and in many cases “the Star”.

Your job as a teacher features you as the star. To your students, you will be the superstar, and every day brings a chance to perform miracles of learning and laughter in your classroom.

With a positive attitude and a sense of humour, you will create wonderful learning environments for your students. You will find things to laugh about each day. Sometimes it will be silly jokes you make up as you teach, sometimes it will be jokes that students share with you, and sometimes students will come out with the funniest statements without realizing what they’ve said. Find the fun and enjoy it!

A very hearty refreshing good morning to one and all present here. I am (Your name) from Class (Your class with section). It gives me immense pride to be accorded the privilege of welcoming (Name of your teacher) to the (Name of your school).

It is rightly said that teaching is a profession that teaches all the other professions. A teacher takes a hand, opens the mind and touches the heart. We are very grateful to (Name of teacher) for joining us here and helping all other teachers in spreading (his/her) knowledge and expertise to us younglings. Now I'd like to get the school's rules and regulations.(Add some of the rules followed in your school and add some points that may help the teacher in student management).

Lastly, I would like to once again thank each and everyone who made this day possible. That's all from me. Thank you and have a nice day ahead.
