Explanation:

GIVEN:-

HEIGHT = 20m

DIAMETER = 7m

RADIUS = 7/2

VOLUME OF CYLINDER = πr^2h

=> 22/7 * (7/2)^2 * 20

=> 22/7 * 49/4 * 20

=> 770/2

=> 385m^3

=> 385000 litres

The work done of water is 7.5\times10^{7}\ J

Explanation:

Given that,

Depth = 20 m

Diameter = 7 m

We need to calculate the volume of water

Using formula of volume

V=\pi\times r^2\times h

Put the value into the formula

V=\pi\times(\dfrac{7}{2})^2\times20

V=769.69\ m^3

The average depth of the well is 10 m.

We need to calculate the work done

Using formula of work done

W=F\times d

W=m\times g\times d

W=V\times\rho\times g\times d

Put the value into the formula

W=769.69\times1000\times9.8\times10

W=7.5\times10^{7}\ J

Hence, The work done of water is 7.5\times10^{7}\ J
