We first get the volume of the soil dug out by getting the volume of the cylindrical hole.

The volume =3.142×(3.5/2)×(3.5/2)×20=192.4475m cubed

The area of the field =20×14=280m2

Using the volume of the soil to get its level we have :

192.4475=280h

H=192.4475/280=0.6873M
