Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The diameter of the well is 14000 m

Given data :

Depth of the well = 6m

Cementing rate = 50p/100m²

Cementing cost = ₹ 1320

So,

50p is needed for = 100m²

100p is needed for = 200m²

1 rs is needed for = 200m²

1320 rs is needed for = (200×1320) = 264000 m²

Let,the radius = r

So,inner surface area = (2πr×6)m²

Now,

2πr×6 = 264000

r = 264000× (1/12) × (7/22)

r = 1848000/264

r = 7000

So,the radius is 7000m.

Diameter = (2×7000) = 14000m (answer)

Cost = csa* rate
1320= 2*22*r*6*20/7
R=1.75 m
Or D= 3.5 m
