well is cylinder in shape.

so height of cylindrical well =h=12m and radius =r=0.7m.

rectangular plot length=l=11m and breadth =b=14m and height=h=?

As the earth that is mud is removed from the well the

Volume of well is equal to volume of the rectangular plot.

Volume of well=Volume of rectangular plot

πr^(2)h=l×b×h

22/7×0.7^(2)×12=11×14×h

22/7×0.49×12=11×14×h

22×0.07×12=11×14×h

22×0.07×12/11×14=h

2×0.07×12/14=h

2×0.01×12/2=h

0.01×12=h

0.12=h

that is h=0.12m

So the height of the rectangular plot is 0.12m.So the height of ground is raised by 0.12m
