Then the radius of the well will  be r = \frac{d}{2} =\frac{105}{2} =52.5 cm

Width of parapet =28 cm

Outer radius of the parapet R=r+width =52.5+28=80.5 cm

A=\pi (R^2-r^2)\\A=\pi (80.5^2-52.5^2)\\A=\pi (3724)\\A=11699.29 cm^2
