Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER

The volume of earth(soil) taken out which is equal to the volume of Cylinder.

Volume of earth taken out from well = Volume embankment

⇒πr 2 h=π(R 22 −R12)×H

⇒52×8.4=((12.5) 2−5)×H

⇒H= 131.2525×8.4

=1.6m

{\huge{\boxed{\tt{\color {steelBlue}{★solution}}}}}

The volume of earth (soil) taken out which is equal to the volume of Cylinder.

Volume of earth taken out from well = Volume embankment

  \sf\small{πr}^{2} h \:  =  \: π \: (r \times \frac{2}{2 }) \:  \times  \: h

\sf\small {5}^{2}  \times  \: 8.3 \:  =  \: ( \: (12.5 {)}^{2}  \:   \:  -  {5}^{2}  \times  \: h

\sf\small{h} \:  =  \:  \frac{25 \:  \times  \: 8.4}{ 134.25 }  = 1.6m

Hence , the answer in 1.6m
