We know that the well is cylindrical. So its volume is πr²h
Volume= 22/7*4²*14
=> 704m³
Now,
The width of the embankment is 3m
Volume of the soil= 704m³
Volume = πh(R²-r²)
R=inner radius +width of embankment
4+3=7
=> 22/7*h*(49-16)=704
h=704*7/22*33=6.79m
