What are Antibodies?

Ans:- An antibody (Ab), also known as an immunoglobulin (Ig), is a large, Y-shaped protein produced mainly by plasma cells that is used by the immune system to neutralize pathogens such as pathogenic bacteria and viruses. The production of antibodies is the main function of the humoral immune system.

When do they developed Antibodies?

Ans:- The human infant is a major subject of immunization to prevent infectious disease.Analysis of individual mechanisms is a prerequisite to understanding the whole response. We have examined the mutation and selection of immunoglobulin genes, mechanisms required for the maturation of antibody affinity.

How do the help of Antibodies?

Ans:- Antibodies help the body fight an infection and are specific to a virus, bacteria, or other pathogen.
