Homologous structures share a similar embryonic origin; analogous organs have a similar function.

There are two types of traits namely acquired and inherited.Acquired traits are those traits which bring a change in the DNA of organisms and which further pass on to the next generations.

Inherited traits are not acquired because they do not bring any change in yhe DNA of organisms rather they are acquired in life time.For example: Swimming.
