a ) the compounds which are made of hydrogen and carbons are called hydrocarbons .

a) Hydrocarbons are the carbon compounds that contain Hydrogen and carbon both.

b) Functional group is that part of the compound taht largely determines the chemical property of compounds

c) this part is not much clear therefore I'm writing difference:-

•saturated compounds have only single bonds

•saturated compounds burn with a clean blue flame

•eg. Methane, Ethane etc.

©unsaturated compounds have double or triple bonds also along with single bonds

©unsaturated compounds burn with a yellow sooty flame

©eg. Ethene, Ethyne, etc.
