When we add ;
1)zinc to copper sulphate solution the reaction is
Zn+CuSO4 to form ZnSO4+Cu
At first the colour of CuSo4 is blue but on adding Zn it's colour fades due to formation of ZnSO4...
2)On adding lead to cupric chloride solution the reaction is
Pb+CuCl2 to form PbCl2 + Cu
as a result of formation of lead chloride the blue colour fades to colourless...
hope it's correct

In first case blue colour will change to colourless due to formation of ZnCl and in second case blue colour will change to white due to formation of PbCl2
